Position: Facilities Technician level 1 at Wasatch Peaks Ranch

Job Summary:
As a Facilities Tech 1, you will play a critical role in the upkeep and improvement of our facilities. You will work closely with our Facilities Manager and be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure that our property is always in top shape. This is a full-time position with benefits and the potential for advancement within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and property grounds
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Complete work orders and tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager
- Identify and troubleshoot problems to determine appropriate course of action
- Assist with contractors and outside vendors for larger repair or maintenance projects
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Perform regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
- Assist in snow removal during winter
- Ability to work a modified schedule especially during snow removal operations
- Ability to communicate well with other team members
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Basic Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment
- Ability to operate heavy equipment I.E. front end loader, skid loader, plow trucks
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and manuals
Additional Requirements:
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
- Must have basic hand tools or willingness to get them
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to ski or snowboard or willingness to learn
- Basic drywall, painting, and carpentry skills.
