Position: Pizza Chef
Reports To: Executive Chef
Starting wage is $23-$26/hr BOE
Job Summary:
The pizza chef will be responsible for creating specialty pizzas and making pizzas ‘to order’ in the on-mountain yurt, and in various locations around the mountain. The pizza chef will support with food preparation, and cooking in various outlets as needed. A passion for cooking and customer service is paramount.
Job Duties:
• Ensures station is clean, sanitized, and stocked for the upcoming shift.
• Prepares and stores pizza dough.
• Prepares sauces.
• Preps accoutrements for specialty pizzas.
• Trains other cooks in proper pizza preparation and execution.
• Ensures quality of products.
• Collaborates with F&B team for menu development.
• Tests new recipes while considering member feedback and food cost parameters.
• Maintains timing and standards set forth by F&B management.
• Supports other F&B outlets as business levels require.
• Provides excellent customer service to members and their guests.
• Cooks at special events as needed.
Licenses and Special Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license.
• Obtain and maintain necessary food safety certifications.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Ability to work in a variety of locations, and weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to identify and organize tickets, emergency signals, and two-way radios.
• Lift 25lbs regularly, 50lbs occasionally.
• Stand, bend, twist, push, pull,

Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Culinary school preferred.
• Experience cooking in a restaurant, preferably making artisan pizza.
